May 2020 monthly update

Updated: Sep 21, 2021

1. Much has changed in our lives over the last month. We are enjoying little Brooklyn and love watching her grow and develop. It is hard to believe that we just passed her 1-month birthday. She is a great baby and had a good report from her most recent doctor’s appointment. She is on a regular schedule and we are getting used to being parents of two.

2. We have had to make some adjustments to our departure date. We have a non-refundable voucher with Avianca airlines, but they are not resuming flights to Ecuador until September. In addition, the U.S. Department of State has stopped issuing passports. We are targeting a departure date in September and will send more information as we make decisions.

3. Over the next few months, we will be reaching out to our supporters within near driving distance that have begun in-person services to minister to them in any way. In addition, we are available for video calling or recording to use in any of your services regardless of your location. We recently participated in the Sunday morning Zoom service with our coworkers and church in Manta, Ecuador and will be continuing to minister to Ecuadorians through these opportunities. Of course, we will be serving in our local church during this time.

4. Please pray for effective ministry over the next few months and continued wisdom as we prepare and set new dates for departure.
