Answers to Prayer
Last March, we asked you to pray that we would cross 50% support by the end of May. God answered your prayers and we met our goal in mid-April, almost six weeks ahead of our “deadline.” We are so thankful for your prayers and are reminded that God works “exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.”
I was ordained on April 7. Thank you for your prayers for wisdom during the doctrinal questioning. I was thankful to see many of our supporting pastor friends and grateful for their continued impact on my life and ministry.
New Support
We’ve gained 10 new supporters this quarter! Our current support level is 67%. We’re thankful for several gifts to our Outfit and Passage needs as well. We’ve raised just about half of our budgeted costs for that account.
Our next goal is to reach 75% by the end of November. Please pray for the right team of prayer and financial supporters from the churches that will be considering us this coming quarter.
Language School
At a recent missions conference in Ohio, we crossed paths with Dr. Morales, a well-qualified Spanish professor. We’ve been taking weekly Spanish lessons from him for just over a month now via Skype. We are grateful for the opportunity to study with him and prepare for life in Ecuador this way.
Prayer Requests
· Midweek openings (July through December) to be filled
· Wisdom planning a second survey trip to Manta, Ecuador for January 2020
· Support goal of 75% to be met by the end of November
