Ministry Opportunities
Both Ashley and I have presented the Gospel to our Spanish teacher, Alberto. He has responded with interest but still needs to be saved. He and his wife, Elsa, are planning to come to our Easter Sunday service. Please continue to pray for their salvation.
I preached for the first time since moving here to Ecuador. Our church had a Saturday men’s meeting and the Lord led me to the book of Daniel to apply some truths from his life. The Lord blessed the message, and I enjoyed the practice of preparing and preaching in Spanish.
We have continued making contacts and building friendships with those in our neighborhood and the community. Please pray for boldness as we present the Gospel to these families.
Answered Prayer
The city of Manta recently allowed children to attend Sunday services at our church. Thank you for praying for this and the other coronavirus restrictions. We still have many restrictions but are glad to see the Lord continuing to answer our prayers in this regard.
Brooklyn contracted and recovered fully from a tropical virus. We are praising the Lord for His protection and healing.
We recently received our Ecuadorian driver’s licenses. This was a big answer to prayer and encouragement to us. Our coworkers, Sid and Susie Messer, and our pastor were a huge help in making contacts with the right people and obtaining the right documents.
